Owner Frankie moved into 13 Kings Road three years ago after leaving her shop in Hastings Old Town. She stocks a fab selection of retro greetings cards that compliment the vintage goods perfectly.

Calneva's best sellers include fully refurbished, guaranteed telephones from the UK and the USA and classic 1950s West German ceramics.

If Frankie regrets selling anything, it would be a beautiful record cabinet which was snapped up one Christmas.

"What does Calneva mean?" ranks among the most common question asked and "Can I order a cab?" is definitely the funniest to date, and has been asked at least twice! Situated half way down the leafy Kings Road, her morning tea run is often to Fika opposite and her lunch dash to warm hearted and healthy Dandelion Deli next door.
